Cape Gardens Landscaping is one of the leading garden design and construction companies in the Algarve. The design team is led by award winning Landscape Architect and garden designer James Marshall. We offer a bespoke garden design service and landscape consultancy for larger scale multi use developments.

All of our projects start with the process of unlocking a deep understanding of our client’s unique vision.

The foundation of all beautifully designed gardens can be found in the plans. Every minute spent in the planning phase saves 10 in design and construction.

Design Phase

Our landscape architects realise the client’s vision using detailed architectural designs and CAD mockups, with iterations based on feedback.

Final Design & Build

Technical drawings, finalised CAD designs, plant and material specifications are delivered, ready for the construction team to take over.

James Marshall, head landscape architect

James has a Masters Degree in Landscape Architecture and is a Chartered member of the Landscape Institute. With nearly 30 years of experience in the landscape industry he has gained many international and national awards, including RHS Chelsea flower Show Gold medals, Best Show Garden, People's Choice Garden at the International Garden Festival Germany, Civic Award Trust, Landscape Institute, BALI and the British Construction Industry.

James and the design team are committed to producing sustainable design solutions and to maximise whenever possible a very positive environmental impact at every stage from the design process, through to the construction process and beyond.
